The Italian family restaurant Simone’s, is located in the North-East Victorian Alpine township of Bright.

Simone’s had been run by George and Patrizia Simone for the past 22 years, in which time it has moved from its first location on the outskirts of Bright, to a beautiful Victorian cottage in the heart of the township.

Bright and the northeast recalls Patrizia’s native town Perugia in Umbria.

“I discovered this valley and this region through  its produce and through my food others can share my experience too. I have been so lucky that people have given me their treasures to use.”

In 2009 Patrizia was created a Legend of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival in recognition of her chef skills and passionate promotion of seasonality and regionality through her work with local food and wine producers.

Son Anthony is now a qualified chef. Having worked in leading restaurants in Italy, USA and Melbourne he now adds his skills and inspiration to the successful running of this restaurant.

Host George Simone leads a professional team whose knowledge of the food and wines will ensure your experience at Simone’s will long be fondly remembered.
