Simone’s had been run by George and Patrizia Simone since 1986, in which time it has moved from its first location on the outskirts of Bright, to a beautiful Victorian cottage in the heart of the township.

As part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival, Patrizia Simone has designed a very special cooking class - From the Farm to the Plate.

Experience first hand the fine produce and great tastes of Bright.  This cooking class starts at 9am with coffee and biscotti at Simone’s Restaurant, then we’ll travel a short distance to pick produce at local growers. With these ingredients in hand we’ll head back to the cooking school for a hands-on class to learn how to make pasta, after which Patrizia will help you prepare tantalising sauces such as passata with fresh local ripe tomatoes. Then we’ll sit down to enjoy the fruits of our labours. You’ll go away with a wealth of new tips and techniques from our award-winning chef Patrizia Simone.
